Jamie Oliver's Fish Pie

I was feeling kind of crappy today. Everything seemed to be getting me down. So, I made Jamie Oliver's Fish Pie. Cheered me up immensely. Look closely. Can you see the smiley face in the crust?


Simple pleasures, eh?

Good old Jamie O. What a legend. This recipe is so very simple and pretty much fool proof. I like to swap the potatoes for celeriac - it's lighter and more fragrant. I recommend adding a good dollop or two of creme fraiche to the fish mixture, which just makes it extra indulgent. Also, scraping the top with a fork and covering with a grating of parmesan will give you a lovely golden crust.
